2015 Junior & Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championships - Cape Town, South Africa

The AFF will be inviting nominations in March from athletes for selection to represent Australia at the 2015 Junior and Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championships. The Championships are to be held in Capetown, South Africa, from 11-17 July.

New MVB Coach - currently training with AUS Men's Foil Team in Italy

AUS Men's Foil Team are now in Italy after training at INSEP in Paris and
competing in the Men's Foil WC CIP Paris. They will first train in Frascati and
then move to Jesi also in Italy, before going back to France for Junior WC.

While in Frascati they have been fencing - Mancini, Errigo, Trani, Simoncelli, Palumbo, Garrozo, Guerra and Rosatelli, to name a few.

The finalists in the NewsLocal Junior Sports Star Awards sponsored by Rebel have been decided.

Congratulations to all our finalists in the 2014 NewsLocal Junior Sports Star Awards. The judging panel gathered together in November for the difficult task to select our finalists. A big thank you to our guest judges Adam Peacock from Fox Sports and Carissa Tombs, Netball - NSW Hall of Fame inductee 2005, for their contribution.

The winners and overall NewsLocal medal winner for 2014 will be announced at the gala NewsLocal Junior Sports Star Awards Presentation Evening on February 18, 2015 hosted by Adam Peacockfrom Fox Sports.
